Nancy Lynn Klein has a solid background in International Marketing, Brand Management and Product Development. Klein is the President of NLK Consulting & Design, LLC® and focuses her efforts on the luxury market and jewelry industry.
Ms. Klein graduated from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism and started her career in Brand Management at NW Ayer, the ad agency that at the time represented DeBeers, which is where she developed a passion for the jewelry industry, while simultaneously attending the Gemological Institute of America. Throughout her career, Ms. Klein has worked for large international organizations such as; QVC, Henry Birks and Finlay as well as smaller jewelry companies such as; SeidenGang, Honora & Samual Aaron, primarily focusing on Merchandising, Marketing & Branding. After working for many different companies, Ms. Klein launched Antica Design, Inc®, her own fine jewelry brand. Klein designed, produced, sold, marketed and promoted merchandised collections to luxury retailers around the country.
Five years into her business, she was robbed at gun-point, and had to close her doors. She ultimately decided to narrow her focus and concentrate on what she believes drives all successful and distinguished businesses, Marketing & Branding.
Klein created NLK Consulting & Design, LLC® primarily to work closely with a select group of companies looking to either; narrow their focus, develop a new brand and/or re-launch a tired brand. Klein’s Programs promote brand recognition, generate new prospects, increase profitability and maintain customer satisfaction. “Branding is all about focus and consistency, you must capture the interest of your customer, touch their emotions, hold their attention and distinguish your brand from your competition it’s the only way to succeed in the ever growing global market.” says Klein.
Today, Ms. Klein is a Professor of Marketing & Branding at Parsons School of Design in NYC which keeps her focused, motivated and ahead of the sales trends; “My students are brilliant and I not only educate them, they teach me, which continues to be an invaluable experience!"
In addition to teaching at Parsons and working with jewelry companies to help them achieve their greatest brand potential, Ms. Klein can also be seen on television.
